Favorite class project:
I love and hate (not really hate) the final project for MPDV 4700 Prototype Development Analysis. I'm overwhelmed at the beginning of the quarter by the huge task at hand to guide the students to design a cohesive collection from concept to actual sewn prototypes within 10 weeks, but love the final outcome. The students are challenged and by using all the skills they have learned at FIDM, from researching trends, to making the patterns for their prototypes, to styling their designs for a photo shoot, the outcome is amazing to see and I'm so very proud of them!
Do you have a particular style or philosophy about teaching?
国产偷拍视频 In regards to teaching pattern making, to become proficient, nothing works better than repetition. I think a student can best demonstrate they understand what they have learned when they can teach someone else the steps.
